From January 2017 all riders will be expected to sign up to annual membership. This will be £15 per year. Current Members will need to renew their Membership by the 1st January 2017. Weekly ride subs will be £4(PAYG). There will now be further options for weekly by paying £12 a month by direct debit or £120 for the year. This year members will be issued with a ‘Membership Card’. We are hoping to get more sponsors on board and will keep you updated as to where you can receive discounts when showing this. In addition, Click this link for details regarding British Cycling Membership (free for the first Year) This is something you are able to receive if you are a member of an affiliated Club and new to British Cycling.
Club membership pays for Insurance/ equipment and training. Weekly subs support the payment of the above along with coaching, (bike skills training from qualified instructors), fitness, confidence building, friendship, track building, racing etc), membership also offers: Race Days, prizes, parties where free food is provided (Christmas/ AGM BBQ for example), and benifits such as free British cycling for the first year, and discounts from local retailers(on production of membership card) As a member, HYCC Hoodies can be ordered / purchased anytime for £15. T-Shirts are also available £6.00
Application and renewal
Application forms are available to download from the link at the bottom of this page,which include rider emergency contact details and any medical information we should know about for safety reasons. This form needs to be signed and returned by the riders first session in 2017. A Medical/Allergy form is also ready to dowload for those that need one. If there are any changes to rider details through the year, please ensure you promptly advise us.
Application and renewal payments can be made by cheque payable to ‘HYCC’ and handed to our membership secretary or members of the committee on Saturday rides, or by on-line payment HSBC Sort code: 40-24-33 Account Number: 31674919 (Please use your child’s name as a reference)
Club rules and code of conduct
Like all sports clubs we depend on our members to respect safety and behave responsibly. All members are required to read and understand our rider guidelines and Club Rules which can be found on the ‘Important Information’ page of the HYCC website.
